How to Draw a Sentence Diagram
In a sentence diagram, each line represents a part of the sentence. In a basic sentence, the left side represents the subject and the right side represents the predicate, which usually introduces the action. A complex sentence has many parts but still starts with a subject and a verb phrase. Then, the other side is the object of the action.
