Personal Life
Steven Steward was a dedicated member of Athens Episcopal Church of the Good Shephard, where he served on Vestry and sang in choir. An avid traveler, Steven is survived by Amy Pretzer as well as Larry & Joy Scriven of Springfield MO – his aunts & uncles who will miss him dearly.
He was a registered representative with Sigma Financial Corporation and an expert in Employee Benefit Plans such as group health insurance, long-term and short-term disability policies and 401(k) and 403(b) plans. Furthermore, he specialized in estate planning.
Steve was also an accomplished musician, performing bass in Bobby Comstock’s Ithaca-based band in support of early rock and R&B artists including Chuck Berry, Bo Diddley, The Coasters, Drifters, Ronnie & Ronettes Ronettes Shangri Las, and Lou Christy.
