Steve Shipp, 70, from Sparks passed away April 15 at Gilchrist Hospice Towson. He leaves behind his wife Pam as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and -nephews.

Shipp is an experienced CFO, responsible for accounting policies/practices, insurance and bonding matters, membership in CFMA as well as affiliation with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Early Life and Education

Steve Shipp was born in Portsmouth Virginia to Reverend George and Shirley Wilson Shipp and attended Raleigh-Egypt High School and Tennessee State University before joining Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity as well as accepting Christ at Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church.

He was married to Yuko and together they raised two daughters. In addition to them, he is survived by his father and brother as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
