Roy continues to hear the truth through the preaching of his parents in Africa, India, Europe and North America. Roy specializes in commercial litigation, securities litigation and white collar criminal defense.

At 24, he is fully capable of expanding his neuroscience-infused magic repertoire.

Early Life and Education

Roy Daniel is a renowned magician known for his neuroscience-enhanced magic. He has performed at several prestigious venues, such as Penn and Teller’s show, taught virtual magic lessons online and written a book detailing his tricks. Furthermore, Roy Daniel is part of Milbourne Christopher Foundation and operates close-up magic.

Growing up in Long Valley, New Jersey was where he excelled as a high school athlete (baseball, soccer and basketball). Additionally, he participated for four years in his school musical production.

He is survived by his wife Sherral and special nephew Gary Cooper of Fort Worth; special niece Linda Lacy-Williams from Mexia as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in his name to either VFW or DAV in honor of this tribute to a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather.

Roy Daniel is an internationally acclaimed evangelist who preaches at churches, schools, orphanages, prisons, nursing homes and outreach ministries all over the world – South Africa, Europe Asia America.

Roy utilizes both neurobiology and magic in concert to perform illusions that exploit people’s weaknesses in memory and cognition. He has performed at theaters nationwide as well as the esteemed Smoke and Mirrors Magic Theater in Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania.

Kalen Darling was thrilled that Roy’s hard work paid off at last weekend’s junior nationals, yet understands it will take some time before Tokyo. For now, Roy is focused on improving his 200-meter breaststroke by taking it one lap at a time.

Achievement and Honors

Roy was actively engaged in his community, volunteering his time and resources for various events and organizations. Known for his generosity when it came to family businesses, Roy always gave back with generosity.

He has received various honors and awards, such as an NSERC Discovery Accelerator Supplement Award and Ontario Early Research Award. His areas of research interest are machine learning, mathematical statistics and theoretical computer science.

Mr. Brown has also dabbled in magic, performing tricks without props – such as guessing hidden card faces using only his sense of smell – with hopes to expand his repertoire with scientifically informed magic soon. He appeared on Penn and Teller’s Fool Us show where his impressive sleight of hand impressed the audience.

Personal Life

Roy Daniel was a beloved member of Americus’ First Baptist Church on the Square and also held several boards during his career. A veteran of Vietnam War, Roy will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

After returning from war, he attended barber school and started his lifelong love of cutting hair. He enjoyed telling jokes with customers and friends and reading and writing; in his free time he also played golf and enjoyed golf tournaments with fellow veterans. He will forever remain in our hearts and prayers.
