Early Life and Education
One of the lesser known members of the art world is artist Winston Wingo. He is a Spartanburg native who has worked with hundreds of students over the years. His mixed-media paintings can be seen at the Spartanburg County Museum of Art. This man of many talents is also an official supporter of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Wingo’s work is large scale, e.g., his Urban series. These bronze sculptures express his love of science.

John Wingo’s personal life was not short on achievements. He was an accomplished businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. The following are just a few of his accomplishments.
As a businessman, John Wingo was a pioneer in the screen printing industry. His company, Wingo and Associates, produced some of the highest quality work around. Not only did he have a great business model, but he was also a terrific guy to boot. After serving in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, John Wingo was rewarded with an honorable discharge.
In the ensuing decades, he built his fortune in real estate, finance, and insurance. The best part about it all was he had the time of his life. He owned a number of businesses, including People’s Hardware and Gifts and WINGO WEALTH. Aside from owning and operating his own company, he was also a certified financial planner and retirement coach.

In addition to hosting sports programs, Trey Wingo has also earned a significant income from his work as a television personality and radio host. He is one of the most famous faces on ESPN, and his salary helps him to give back to the community.
