John Simeone was born and raised in the Ozark Mountains of Arkansas. At age 9, he discovered his “Gift” of becoming an American Sharpshooter, beginning a life-long practice of Martial Arts.

At age 19, he joined the US Army as a Military Policeman and spent seven years working as an Army Game Warden across four states including Alaska.

Early Life and Education

John Simeone was born on June 24, 1934 in Geneva, New York to Rod and Jeri Simeone.

He was a graduate of DeSales High School and an active member in the Sons of Italy organization.

He was an active community activist in Corona, serving on the Lions Club, Community Board 4 and Community School Board 24.

He also enjoyed collecting artifacts and memorabilia from World War II. On February 1, 2022, he passed away and is survived by his wife Ethel Rose Wallace.

Professional Career

John Simeone has extensive managerial experience, having managed several professional soccer teams such as Racing Club, Estudiantes de La Plata and River Plate in Argentina as well as Spanish giant Atletico Madrid.

He has guided his teams to several league titles, including the Argentine Primera Division and La Liga. Additionally, he has won the Copa del Rey and two UEFA Europa Leagues.

In addition to his managerial responsibilities, he has extensive experience in the information technology sector. He holds an associate’s degree in Network Systems Administration and is currently studying for a bachelor’s in computer science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Diego Simeone is a retired professional football player and manager who has been managing Atletico Madrid since 2011. Throughout his career, he has earned many honors such as winning the 2012 UEFA Super Cup and leading Atleti to two league titles and three domestic doubles.
