Jack Markham is a recognized leader in real estate and technology with executive roles at Constellation Realty Group, Market Leader, Equator and Trulia. A sought-after speaker at industry conferences, Jack appreciates how technology helps broker/agent success.

On the mound he exhibits a balanced yet loose arm action while throwing from a high 3/4 arm slot. His three pitch mix includes an above average fastball with sink movement as well as an effective changeup.

Early Life and Education

He taught at Nelson Grammar School and later Walton High School; additionally he served as woodwork instructor. Over 34 years he was active as a local educator; upon retirement his former pupils would often thank him for all the time spent together.

On a winter evening at Rock Hill BMX Supercross Track, stadium lights glowed as Badanik, 48; Markham, 45; and Bochniak, 44, lined up their two sons Matt and Kuba for practice on their bikes before riding down the concrete decline, jumping hills and turning sharp corners.

Not only did he work in the oil and gas industry, he was an active member of First Christian Church in Greensboro; an avid golfer (scoring an ace on his 97th birthday); and was actively engaged with Downtown Bible Class.

Professional Career

He enjoyed an impressive career as a sales leader, most recently serving in executive capacities at real estate technology firms Constellation Real Estate Group and Equator. He demonstrated success driving growth with scalable business models while understanding how technology plays an essential part in supporting broker/agent success.

Last season, Markham started in several games alongside fellow sophomore safety Antonio Pierce and made an impactful contribution with 27 tackles, an interception, and two pass breakups – which will likely translate to greater role this year.

Jack enjoyed being an enthusiastic New York Yankees fan and would often visit Saratoga Casino with friends. Additionally, he greatly treasured spending time with his family, particularly his nieces and nephews as well as two grandchildren whom he was immensely proud of.

Achievement and Honors

Markham was an esteemed figure in the poetry world during his lifetime. His highly rhetorical poems expressed his advocacy for social reform and spiritual unity among humanity through spiritual faith, often sparking heated discussions among critics; William Jennings Bryan praised them while Ambrose Bierce deemed “any poem of any excellence else will only last two generations.”

Personal Life

Jack had a passion for acting that spanned a lifetime, performing with Durham Theatre Guild and Livestock Players Musical Theatre. Additionally, he volunteered at Shepherd’s Center of Greensboro as an instructor of computer skills and watercolor painting for older adults.

He devoted his later years to family, community, and Republican politics. He was an active member of First Christian Church and Downtown Bible Class as well as golfing and ranching – spending much time with his grandchildren.

Markham was found guilty of murder in 2008 and served several years before being released in 2017. He died on March 28, 2022 at age 82, leaving behind three daughters – LaRhe M. Spell (of Raleigh) and Jim Spell of Greensboro and Starr Markham from Greensboro (NC).

Jack Markham has long been considered an expert when it comes to creating entertaining videos for YouTube, uploading his creations there and receiving huge numbers of views from his viewers. Some of his most watched clips include ‘Floor is Lava Challenge at Walmart!’ and ‘Singing Despacito on the Walmart Intercom!’ which have received millions of views respectively.

Monte has worked both behind and in front of the camera. He has produced, directed, narrated and hosted over 150 hours of documentary films for network television including the History Channel’s Biographie series.

He co-founded Perpetual Motion Films with wife Klaire and son Jason in 1992. Additionally, he had an extensive stage career that spanned decades; attending Palm Beach State College before attending University of Georgia to earn a Masters of Theatre.
