Jack Herring
Jack Herring
Jack Herring was an unfailingly gentle and perceptive individual whose presence at meeting for worship deepened our collective experience by adding an additional level of watchful silence while we waited on God to bring light.
Herring did not raise any special objections to Herring’s pleadings, so the trial court appropriately rendered a take-nothing summary judgment and we uphold its decision in civil appeals court.

Jack was born in Newberg, Oregon and graduated from McMinnville High School with a letter in wrestling. Later he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he traveled extensively both domestically and overseas during his service time.
After graduating Wake Forest College with his B.S. in Physics and M.S./Ph.D from UNC in Physics respectively, he then went on to work at NCAR’s Advanced Science Program as a long-term visitor until eventually leaving Colorado altogether in 2010.
