George Dippold is an actor, director, stage manager, experimental theater deviser/collaborator and assistant director who has been part of the JMU Theatre faculty for many years.

His education includes a bachelor’s degree in theater from James Madison University, an MA in performance studies from the University of Virginia and a PhD in theater arts from the University of Maryland. Furthermore, he has received numerous awards for his work.
