George Bogden
George Bogden is a Strategy & Policy Fellow at Smith Richardson Foundation and Senior Visiting Researcher at Bard College, as well as being named the 2022 Helmut Schmidt Fellow for Global Leadership in Foreign and Transatlantic Policy. Additionally, he holds a law clerk position with the United States Court of International Trade in New York.
He holds a D.Phil in international relations from Oxford University, having been awarded a Clarendon Scholarship there. Additionally, he served as Fulbright Public Policy Fellow in Kosovo for two years.

George Bogden is a distinguished senior visiting researcher at Bard College, fellow of the German Marshall Fund of America and law clerk with the United States Court of International Trade. In addition to these positions, he has held other distinguished appointments within academia such as being appointed to lead research on climate change at Princeton University’s Institute for Global Environmental Change in 2002.
Aside from his academic pursuits, he enjoys an active social life with friends and family in both Budapest and Washington D.C. His favorite pastime is playing golf – it’s been one of his favorite past times!
