Evangeline Ruth Carlile

Columbia Records signed Carlile in 2004. A year later, she released her first home recording. She has since released seven albums, including By the Way, I Forgive you, which debuted at the number five spot on the Billboard 200 in 2018. In 2002, the singer also revealed that she was a lesbian in an interview. Christopher Shepherd, her husband, gave birth to their first child, Evangeline Ruth in 2014. Their second child, Elijah was born in March 2018.
