David Holton’s professional career has been an incredibly rewarding one. He has worked on numerous forensic accounting engagements as well as independent business reviews, and is a highly skilled restructuring and corporate recovery practitioner.

He has also held various Accounting & IT positions within the manufacturing and wholesale distribution industries. Since joining Rodgers Reidy in 2006, he has developed his skills and expertise in the area of formal insolvency appointments, restructuring and corporate recovery assignments.

In addition, he has spent many years working with a number of international artists. He was at the forefront of efforts to make African American artists and their work important parts of the modern and contemporary art world. He was a generous and artistically dedicated person with a wry sense of humor.

Judge David Holton (84), retired in September 2017, was recently recognized for his efforts by the Louisville Bar Association as a distinguished jurist. In addition to his legal career, Holton also served as a judge in juvenile court.

As a graduate of Morehead State, Holton has always been proud of his alma mater. That’s why he and his wife Michele made an estate commitment of $1 million to create two new endowed funds in UVM’s Department of Athletics.
