David Hollenbaugh is an expert balloon and Zeppelin topical collector, hot air balloon pilot, scoring official for national and international balloon competitions, as well as editor of The Zeppelin Collector magazine.
Appellant alleges the appellees acted with malice when they wrongfully converted his client file and filed a false attorney lien over it. Additionally, they allegedly failed to return his file and violated various ethical rules.
Early Life and Education
David Hollenbaugh has been in the public safety field for four decades. Currently, he serves as Director of Public Safety in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania and acts as liaison to two volunteer fire companies within that municipality.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Clemson University and an master’s in business administration from the University of South Carolina. Throughout his career, he has held sales and marketing roles at both private and public companies.
In 1964, Hollenbaugh began a terrifying series of attacks against women in a small town. In some cases, he made them wear men’s clothing and then shot them; one case involved forcing his way into a home and shooting its mother in her leg. Another woman was dragged into the woods where she was bound and shot by “The Mountain Man,” an individual who would come to be known as “The Mountain Man.”
Professional Career
david hollenbaugh has been in the financial advisory business for more than two decades, with an emphasis on equity investments and real estate. As a certified public accountant with a degree from University of Maryland, hollenbaugh also knows a thing or two about taxes – not only to save clients money on taxes but also to enhance their lives through strategic planning and creative solutions.
The best part is that he can do it all under one roof at a modern office tower in downtown Baltimore. It boasts an array of amenities like a well-appointed fitness center, cutting-edge conference space, rooftop patio and even a billiard room to watch sports. The only down side is that it’s quite far away from city center.
Achievement and Honors
Dave Hollenbaugh ’85 was an all-conference selection in basketball and baseball at Slippery Rock University, ranking sixth on the school’s all-time scoring list and setting a record for career steals with 165.
He highlighted education as the solution to many of today’s global challenges, and is now serving as executive director of the SRU Foundation.
Hollenbaugh recently finished filming a documentary entitled “A Life Like This,” featuring four artists with disabilities who work in Lancaster. Created as an artist-in-residence at Franklin & Marshall College last fall, the film will be on display through March at Winter Visual Arts Center until March 29th.
Personal Life
David Hollenbaugh was a retired Marine and had worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 32 years before his marriage to Elizabeth (Skutt) Bennett ended on November 4, 2009.
He formerly resided in Gasport and proudly served his country during the Korean War, earning the rank of Sergeant.
After his retirement, he remained engaged in his community. He was a member of Terry’s Corners Fire Hall and the Marine Corps League Devil Dog Detachment; plus, he enjoyed playing bingo!
Before kidnapping Peggy Ann, Hollenbaugh had committed a series of terrifying attacks against women – one which left a pregnant woman in the hospital with serious injuries. Additionally, he threw a man off a ladder and shot him in the leg.
