Daniel Martell – Entrepreneur and Forensic Neuropsychologist

Daniel Martell is an American entrepreneur and investor who has founded, scaled and successfully exited three technology companies within a ten year period. He is also a recognized thought leader and highly sought after coach in the SaaS, or software as a service, industry.

He is the vice president of state legislative affairs for Florida Power & Light Company (FPL). He is responsible for all state legislative activities, including ensuring that FPL’s energy policies support the economic interests of Hispanic families, businesses and entrepreneurs across America.

Previously, Martell was chief executive officer for the Economic Council of Palm Beach County and held various leadership positions at homebuilder group Florida Crystals Corp. He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Florida and a juris doctorate from Nova Southeastern University.

A TikTok star, he has amassed more than 470,000 followers on his danvmartell account by posting business coaching and entrepreneurship advice videos. His danvmartell Instagram page has more than 120,000 likes.

In addition to his work with TAG, he serves as a forensic neuropsychologist for Park Dietz & Associates in New York City. His work centers around risk assessment among the mentally ill, and his expertise in cases involving brain damage and violent criminal behavior is frequently called upon in trials throughout the U.S. He has written several scientific journal articles and presented at national conferences. He is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for the Advancement of Criminology.
