The Musician Daniel Gustin Passes Away
Gustin founded Canadian Flight Trainers with a mission of enriching students’ training experience. As such, he encourages his students to seek help for their mental health, which he feels can often go overlooked in aviation.
Gustin made innovation and expansion the hallmarks of Gilmore International Keyboard Festival during his tenure, according to an orchestra release. He increased concerts and educational programming while commissioning new works for piano.
Early Life and Education
Brenda Gustin sadly lost her loving husband John Gustin peacefully on September 3, 2016. John will be deeply missed by his cherished parents John and Cynthia Gustin of Frank Wells; sister Kathy (Scott) Campbell from Kenosha; nieces Hannah Lou Gustin of Denver CO as well as grandniece Samantha as well as many cousins and friends that loved him dearly.
He started flying as a teenager, quickly realizing his interest was more than just a hobby; rather it was something more. Deciding to pursue his goal of becoming a pilot and enroll in a flight training program at college level.

Canadian Flight Trainers (CFT) emerged out of this passion; pilots can communicate freely with instructors while enjoying a positive learning environment; campaigns also aim at supporting mental health issues among pilots.
