Borgia has taught at Nichols since 2001, as well as multiple universities both domestically and abroad in both China. He is a prolific author with multiple peer-reviewed papers, presentations and conference proceedings to his name.

Borgia and Jia, who was born in China, own a home in Tangshan in northern China where they spend much time traveling with their teenage son. He holds three degrees – PhD from Kent State University; MBA from Gannon University; and BS from Cornell University – which they use frequently during family trips together.

He oversees the development and management of academic programs for Bryant’s Zhuhai campus, which opened its doors in September 2015. This four-year undergraduate program mirrors Bryant’s nationally renowned curriculum vigor and faculty quality.
