Jack Christopher came back strong following an impressive third-place finish in the Haskell at route distance with another close third-place showing in the Grade 1 Allen Jerkens Memorial at 7 furlongs under trainer Chad Brown and won again, this time sprinting at 7 furlongs. The Munnings colt from Munnings proved his worth with yet another victory!

Chris Jacks was an All Blacks international who represented Canterbury and Tasman Mako rugby union teams in New Zealand; Saracens in England Premiership; and internationally. Additionally he also worked in sales operations.

Early Life and Education

Jack was tragically killed in a car accident, yet his parents found ways to honor and continue his legacy. They established Jack’s Journeys – a Facebook page where painted rocks can be left as memorials in his name – with people encouraged to paint a rock, hide it somewhere and post photos on Jack’s Journeys for everyone else to view.

At Optimove, Chris has utilized skills learned during his Data Science Immersive course at General Assembly to apply them to sales processes. For example, by scraping events from websites to automate and streamline lead outreach efforts.

He made an appearance on the reality series SAS Who Dares Wins as part of a crew of nine who attempted to recreate Captain William Bligh’s 1789 feat of Mutiny on the Bounty voyage a second time around. According to one crewmate, he proved an divisive character who caused division amongst its ranks.

Christopher Jacks hails from Statesboro, Georgia. He attended Hobart and William Smith Colleges where he earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies; additionally, he studied at Edinburgh University.

Jacks made an appearance on Channel 4’s Mutiny earlier this year as part of a crew that voyaged across the Pacific in a small wooden vessel reenacting Captain William Bligh’s 1789 voyage after the Bounty Mutiny. Jacks, who works at a hotel in central London and plans on making another show for Discovery Channel soon, proved divisive among his crewmates due to clashes in personality.

On October 25, he made 57 calls to her from multiple numbers and appeared at her home to plead with her to accept him back while also threatening to throw acid on her.
