Achievement and Honors
Baretta was an early leader in the weapon world, producing pistols and rifles used by Italy during World War II. Their guns became legendary for their quality until World War III reached an armistice agreement between Italy and Allies.
Mel-Hart Products was bankrupted in 1990, so their brand was rebranded under Baretta Marine to continue manufacturing 16 to 23 foot recreational bow riders and cuddy cruisers for sale to recreational boating enthusiasts in Arkansas. Baretta boats have made appearances on several television series such as Starsky & Hutch, Murder She Wrote and Cybill.
Personal Life
Emmy Award-winning actor Robert Blake, famous for his portrayal of Baretta on 1970s TV cop series Baretta before acquittal from high-profile murder trial, died at age 89 on Thursday according to Noreen Austin who confirmed it via phone call.
He became best-known for his roles in films like Richard Brooks’ adaptation of Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood and David Lynch’s Lost Highway, as well as being a star on Baretta as tough-minded yet compassionate detective Tony Baretta who frequently used disguises and carried a pet cockatoo around with him.
Through the 1980s, he offered recreational bow riders and cuddy cruisers under his Baretta brand; these vessels ranged in hull length from 16 to 23 feet.
Net Worth
To calculate net worth, start with your assets – these could include cash, retirement accounts (such as 401(k)s), investment accounts, vehicles and property. Also included here would be any personal loans you might have such as student loan balances, auto debt or payday loans. Once this figure has been determined, subtracting what liabilities exist (revolving consumer debt such as credit card balances as well as home and auto loans etc) from what assets remain.
