A Closer Look at One of the Baking Impossible Contestants

Aside from working in his company, Taylor is also a contract researcher in Accenture Labs Future Technology Group. The series features bakers and engineers, who are put through a series of challenges in order to make edible creations that can survive a stressful test. Teams are paired with each other and have to prepare a dessert that meets a series of specifications. Each team then receives feedback from a panel of judges. If the team fails, they are eliminated. Those who win will advance to the next round, where they get a special advantage. Unlike other baking competition shows, Baking Impossible takes the baking to an entirely different level.

At the end of each episode, the judges vote off a pair. For example, in the first episode, the two pairs were tasked with making a cake that could withstand a pressure test. They also had to build a boat that could navigate through an obstacle tank. All the while, they had to meet other stress points.

Taylor and Cindy were paired in a number of assignments and a chemistry that seemed to gel in a number of ways was evident. Fans of the show have speculated that the two are dating, but no official confirmation has been made. Nonetheless, the two have maintained a close friendship after the show.

Originally from San Francisco, Taylor attended Carnegie Mellon University, where he majored in chemical engineering.
