During a recent visit to the West End, I was fortunate enough to attend the stage adaptation of Anna Friel’s “Breakfast at Tiffany’s.” While I was a bit disappointed by the overall quality of the production, I did find the story a charming one. The cast of the play, especially Anna Friel, did a wonderful job portraying the character’s emotional journey. It was so easy to feel the emotions that Friel was conveying. Thankfully, I was able to leave the theatre feeling a little more optimistic about my own life.

Pixie Lott to star in West End stage adaptation

During the summer of 2016, Pixie Lott will be making her stage debut in the West End, playing the role of Holly Golightly in the adaptation of Anna Friel’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Lott is a young singer, with a pop music career that is proving meteoric. Her debut single, Turn It Up, sold over 1.5 million copies and spawned five top twenty singles. Her self-titled album was released in August 2014. During the summer of 2013, Lott appeared on BBC1’s Inspector George Gently and topped the charts. She has released three albums since then.
