Amberley Snyder A Cowgirl’s Song
Amberley Snyder – A Cowgirl’s Song
In 2010, Amberley Snyder’s life was turned upside down. She was driving to the National Western Stock Show and Rodeo in Denver when she slid from her truck and suffered paralysis from the waist down. While doctors said she would never be able to ride again, she kept competing and proving herself. By the time she turned 18, she had won the National Little Britches Rodeo Association All-Around Cowgirl World title.
Amberley was born in southern California in 1991. She grew up in a competitive family. She took riding lessons at age 3 and started competing in barrel racing when she was four. When she turned 18, she won the All-Around Cowgirl World Championship in pole bending, breakaway roping and goat tying.
Amberley’s parents were supportive and helped to cultivate her passion for rodeo. The Snyders were active members of the Utah FFA. After her accident, Amberley began her career as a motivational speaker. Eventually, she became a professional barrel racer. Since then, she has competed at the National High School Finals and made the finals of the Bank of America Youth Excellence Seminar. Now, she travels between Texas and Utah, promoting her book Walk Ride Rodeo.
A Cowgirl’s Song is a music-themed coming-of-age story. It stars several actors and actresses, including Cheryl Ladd, Darci Lynne Farmer and Savannah Lee May. Several others also appear in the film. As a singer, Ladd has appeared in multiple television shows and commercials.
Her first TV role was as the voice of Melody on the 1970s animated series “Josie and the Pussycats.” Later, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a musical career. However, she soon decided to move back home to Oklahoma to pursue her true love.
With help from her mother, Amberley grew her passion for horses. When she was a teenager, she participated in the Utah FFA. At age three, she took her first riding lesson and knew she wanted to be a cowgirl. But, her mom told her that “hard work beats talent.”
Amberley’s mom, Tina, fought against the urge to surround her daughter in bubble wrap. Even after she was healed, Tina still fought against the urge. And even after she was ejected from her driver’s seat, she never gave up hope.
In addition to writing the script and co-producing the movie with Shane Henry, McClure has starred in the movie as supporting characters. Unlike the first two films of the series, A Cowgirl’s Song was shot in the state of Oklahoma. It was filmed in Stillwater and Guthrie. Despite the location, the film received positive reviews.
The movie also won several awards. It won the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress Modern Feature Western Film Awards. Additionally, it won the Director’s Choice Actress Modern Feature Western Film Award.
The success of A Cowgirl’s Song was a result of a lot of people collaborating together. Ultimately, it is a testament to Amberley’s strength and passion for the sport.
