Early Life and Education

Adam Towing was born and raised frugally by his mother who worked at an Illinois street food emporium before retiring.

Danville’s Monte Vista High School before continuing on to Stanford University and Harvard Law School. Additionally, he spent one year working in an auto body shop.

Starting his automotive business career by painting Mustang pedal cars while working alongside his father Everett in Sauk Prairie. Later he earned an Auto Body Tech degree and opened up his own towing company. Since then, he has seen two children through college as well as watching their grandchildren grow up; currently married for over 33 years, proud of both family members, licensed USCG captain and has been involved with Tow Jamm Marine since then.

Adam LZ possesses a passion for the outdoors and finds immense enjoyment hunting, fishing and trapping all Midwest game species. Additionally, he dedicates much of his time and effort to improving wildlife habitat on his family farm in eastern Missouri.

Since 1993, when Mike Adams Towing & Air Cushion Recovery began with one 1989 Mack Superliner as its flagship model, his business has since expanded into state contracts, municipal contracts, 27 light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks (of which nearly one third are Class 8 Macks), an impressive 27 light, medium and heavy duty fleet and numerous municipal contracts across Georgia and beyond.

Adams is no stranger to big game hunting, having amassed an impressive collection of tags – both small and larger – throughout his long career in the outdoors. Additionally, he remains committed to bowhunting by using Easton Full Metal Jacket arrow shafts with both Reflex and Hoyt bows for maximum effectiveness.

Personal Life

Adam Towing is both a television personality and businessman, earning income through his trucking and towing company as well as from Highway Thru Hell television show and selling merchandise on his website.

An avid car collector, he owns many high-performance models including multiple BMW models and a Porsche 911 GT3 RS in his garage.

Hope is home for him and his wife and children; together they all love skiing and spending quality time.
