Adam Hosmer is an attorney in Nevada renowned for representing some of its largest companies and entities in high-profile matters relating to health care, gaming, intellectual property rights protection, trusts & estates administration and antitrust / unfair trade practices as well as commercial torts.

Adam attended Pacific University where he excelled as both a water polo and swimming player – becoming an All-American in both sports.

Adam Hosmer is a professional baseball player for the Kansas City Royals in Major League Baseball and works as a lawyer at McDonald Carano Law Firm in Reno, Nevada specializing in gaming law – representing some of the largest entities and companies within Nevada.

Hosmer made his Florida State League debut with Bradenton Marauders of Florida State League in 2014 and hit an outstanding.355 average while showing excellent contact and OBP. In 2015 he transitioned over to second base for Lake Elsinore Storm where he played alongside Gift Ngoepe and Alen Hanson for backup purposes.

Lorenzo Cain hit an infield single against Kevin Jepsen of the losing team before Eric Hosmer delivered the knockout blow with a homer to right field for an American victory in what will now become a best-of-five series against Los Angeles.

Adam Hosmer has earned numerous awards and honors for his work. Most notably, he was honored to be selected to The American Lawyer’s 2021 West Trailblazers list; an honor bestowed upon attorneys who “truly embody the values of the profession”. Furthermore, Adam is part of McDonald Carano’s Appellate practice group as co-chair.

Hosmer was widely considered one of the top high school prospects, and the Royals selected him with the third overall selection in the 2008 MLB draft. Since then he has gone on to receive several honors including two Gold Glove Awards and one Silver Slugger Award.

Florence Armes Hosmer (1880-1968), one of the foremost independent female artists during her time, created more than 500 works during a century that saw two world wars, women’s suffrage and other significant events.

Personal Life

Hosmer-Henner is a litigation and appellate partner at McDonald Carano LLP’s Reno office, with expertise in an array of complex commercial matters as well as an active pro bono practice.

He is married to an ex-NESN anchor and the couple share two children together.

Hosmer was arrested for breaking into a Cohocton cabin and taking chain saws and camping chairs before being released with an appearance ticket.

The Red Sox have announced they are replacing Hosmer with Triston Casas, an athletic first baseman currently playing in Worcester who could become an All-Star at first base. This move may help the Red Sox improve upon an inconsistent first base situation this season.
