Adam Heinz – Executive Director of Integrated Health for REMSA

Adam Heinz is an Executive Director of Integrated Health for REMSA in Reno, Nevada. He brings 18 years of emergency medical services experience to his role. Having served in roles from Paramedic, to EMS Supervisor, Clinical Development Manager and Director of Clinical Communications, Adam now leads REMSA’s team responsible for advancing the organization’s innovative mobile health care projects. In addition, he represents the collaborative and business interests of REMSA with regional partners, regulatory representatives and elected officials at a local and state level.

Heinz also taught at the Jagiellonian University, teaching extra-mural courses aimed at working teachers who sought to supplement their education with a degree. In these classes he taught Old Church Slavonic, as well as Polish descriptive grammar, and monographic lectures on general linguistics.

He is a proud alumnus of the University of Nevada, Reno, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is currently pursuing an MBA with an emphasis in healthcare leadership. He has a strong commitment to delivering compassionate and clinically excellent prehospital care. He is a nationally registered Paramedic, certified as an Advanced Emergency Medical Dispatcher and a Nevada State EMS Instructor.

In his personal life, he is an avid traveler and speaks conversational French. He and his wife Heather, an emergency department registered nurse, live in northern Nevada with their children, Ella (4) and Bentley (2). They enjoy international travel, wine tasting and spending time with family and friends. They are passionate Disney fans and support a variety of local charities.
