Sydney Lett and Adam Conrady Will Graduate As Rockets

Sydney Lett and Adam Conrady first entered Rochester High School last summer as strangers, yet by graduation day on Sunday they will leave as Rockets – an instantaneous success that says much about their attitudes according to principal Dennis Canny.

This two-volume paperback republication presents Conrady’s complete system of optical design. As the only work of its kind, this work leads the reader step-by-step towards understanding both geometrical and physical optics.

Early Life and Education

Adam Conrady, grandson of Allyn Ferguson (an accomplished TV and film composer). Adam graduated from McNally Smith College of Music in St Paul MN with a BA in music composition/theory in 2013. Since then he has composed orchestrated film scores, developed an all-improv jazz symphonic ensemble called Improvvestra Orchestra as well as orchestrating for film projects.

Sydney Lett and Adam Conrady arrived at Rochester High School as strangers last year; by graduation Sunday they will leave as integral parts of its community. Principal Dennis Canny attributes their fast assimilation into Rocket nation to their positive attitudes and willingness to contribute.

Beaumont Community Players presents “Elf: The Musical.” Conrady makes an ideal Buddy due to his overly animated antics. After teaching drama for 10 years at Nederland and Vidor high schools, leaving their drama departments has freed up his evenings for performance opportunities.

Professional Career

Sydney Lett and Adam Conrady entered Rochester High School last summer as strangers, yet by graduation day this Sunday it will seem as though they have always been part of their class. That is due to both their enthusiasm as freshmen, as well as how quickly the senior class accepted and made them feel at home in their new environment.

Adam joined the Marine Corps after graduating high school, serving in Germany, Korea and Bosnia/Kosovo before retiring as captain. Now working at Atos Information Technology Services in Fredericksburg as business development manager as well as serving on Talbot House Ministries Board. Adam and Shannon share five children together.

Achievement and Honors

Rochester Principal Dennis Canny recalls how instantly these seniors became leaders thanks to their willingness to get involved and take charge.

Canny said both Lett and Sass serve as a fine example of what students can accomplish when willing to put in hard work. Additionally, Ulster Detachment Marine Corps League recognized Gabriella Kirkley; Court Santa Maria Catholic Daughters of America recognized Bridget Kelly.

Personal Life

Adam learned the value of service before self, professional growth, teamwork and collaboration during his Marine Corps service – lessons which translate to his career as a software engineer today.

Sydney Lett and Adam Conrady arrived at Rochester High School last summer as strangers, but according to Principal Dennis Canny they quickly made an impressionful first impression with their classmates and teachers alike. These seniors quickly stepped into leadership positions both academically and athletically – their classmates readily accepting them into their fold.

Seide Conrady of Hartsburg is survived by one son, Craig Conrady of Lincoln; two daughters Cindy (and Kevin) Gleason from Hartsburg and Christy Cross from Hopedale; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one brother. Both his parents, Seide and Anna Rademaker Conrady had passed before him.

Adam Conrady boasts an estimated net worth of $1.9 Million. As the Business Development Manager at Atos for 16 years, his salary includes benefits such as medical and dental. Together with Shannon, Adam and their five children Allison, Matthew, Brandon Ashleigh and Caleb reside in Fredericksburg Virginia with them all enjoying sports such as Madden as well as watching the Kansas City Chiefs!
